Lots of transition happening in my family right now. My mom just retired from her medical practice as a family doctor (she won’t let us call it a retirement though, she’s “moving on” to teaching and writing, so it’s not actually a break anyway). And my younger brother just got home from an intensely rehabilitative year away in New Jersey.
