Ugh, don’t bother putting a personal note in your friend request if it’s obvious that you cut and paste the note into every request. I do like the option to include a note though, and I usually write something if I’m requesting a band I like. But I guess a lot of bands use friend adds as marketing?
Ok, I’ll add your band to my friends, but seriously, what does that do for you or me? I think the successful add has some sense of “I like what you’re doing, I’d like to add you to my friend list.” Isn’t that how we make friends?
Saying, “Hi please listen to my music and comment” just seems socially awkward.
